From Industry Roots to National Recognition
Founded in 1963 and independently upgraded in 2002, CZIMT gained national backbone-college status in 2010, was selected for China's Double High Plan in 2019 and entered its second phase in 2025.
Early Development
Founded as Changzhou Municipal Machinery Vocational School. It was renamed Changzhou Machinery School in 1978 and moved to Xinzhai Campus in 1981.
International Learning With Local Strength
International Students
Since international enrollment began in 2016, CZIMT has recruited more than 1,000 students from Belt and Road Initiative countries.
Quality Assured
In 2024, CZIMT passed the national Quality Certification for International Student Education in Higher Vocational Education with outstanding results.
Jiangsu Recognition
